The Franciscan Church of Iglesia de San Roman in Campeche is the church that is home to the Black Christ. Furthermore, it is said that Black Christ was brought over from Italy in about 1575. The Black Christ of Campeche paintings displayed inside Iglesia de San Roman are genuinely amazing and tell a story. Black Christ’s paintings are truly amazing and should be seen in person.
